Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 10, 2019) – Essex Magnet Wire, the largest global manufacturer of magnet and winding wire, was recognized with a 2018 North American Gold Award for Value Leadership from the world’s second largest mobility supplier DENSO, during its annual North America Supplier Conference. Held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, DENSO’s Supplier Conference brings together more than 150 supplier representatives from across North America.
Essex was one of just four recipients to be awarded by DENSO in the Value Category. Xavier Mann, Vice President of the Automotive Business Unit for Essex, said that being recognized by DENSO was only possible thanks to a strong team effort by many people at Essex.
“Essex is honored and humbled to receive such a prestigious award from DENSO,” Mann said. “With their focus on quality and continuous improvement, they have helped make Essex a much better supplier.”
In its fourth year, DENSO’s Supplier of the Year Awards are given to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance, a deep commitment to exceptional quality and a willingness to collaborate in advancing automotive products, services and technologies. Essex has been proud to participate in 30 years of supplying DENSO with magnet wire and insulation in North America, Europe, Asia and Japan.
“DENSO’s suppliers are an integral part of our success.
